Please be advised that BMBA no longer supply's helmets for the following divisions:

TBall

Softball:
U8 (formerly Atom)
U10 (formerly Mite)
U12 (formerly Squirt)
U14 (formerly Peewee)
U16 (formerly Bantam) *new for 2019 season
U20 (formerly Midget) *starting 2024 season

Hardball:
7U (formerly Jr. Rookie)
9U (formerly Sr. Rookie)
11U (formerly Mosquito)
13U (formerly Peewee)
15U (formerly Bantam) *new for 2019 season
18U (formerly Midget) *starting 2023 season

Players in those divisions will be required to have their own helmet.

For players in any softball program, it is mandatory to have a cage on the batting helmet.

For the hardball house league program, the cage is only required for pitchers, or players playing the pitcher position, in 7U (formerly Jr. Rookie), 9U (formerly Sr. Rookie) and 11U (formerly Mosquito/Tyke).

This rule applies to all BMBA players playing games in and out of town.

Hockey helmets are never to be worn.
